Everyone says that we need to get our priorities straight here on earth.
Some people think we need to learn how to care for one another. Some people think we need to spend more time in church. Others think we need to provide more schooling for our young people. There are even those that believe that “nuking” the middle east would solve the bulk of our problems.
We are easily inclined to believe that priorities are something personal. That they are only subject to opinion and that there does not really exist any true or universal priority.
This is however a very childish assumption for there are indeed universal priorities. Unfortunately, over 99% of us choose to live in a naive little bubble, keeping ourselves oblivious from any wise perspective on what is or is not important.
